Isle of Man Foundations
We are able to help establish and undertake all associated administration services for foundations in the Isle of Man.
We can provide the Registered agent and Council members and undertake all the necessary Accounting services.
Foundations offer an alternative to traditional trust and corporate structures. They share the characteristics of trusts in that they do not have shareholders but, instead, each will have a founder and beneficiaries.
Foundations were introduced into Isle of Man law by the Foundations Act 2011. A foundation may be particularly attractive to private clients from civil law jurisdictions who are not familiar with the trust concept or who would like a wealth management entity which will be easily recognised by third parties in their home jurisdiction. Foundations share many characteristics with trusts and may be used for many reasons including (but not limited to) family provision and wealth preservation, succession planning and philanthropy.
