Over the last four months Lee has been researching and evaluating the potential of crypto-currencies on behalf of Cayman National and he has attended the Bitcoin 2014 (Amsterdam) and BitFin (Dublin) conferences as well as the recent Crypto Valley Summit organised by the Isle of Man Government.

Lee said:

"I have also been working closely with industry and government contacts to identify and realise the potential of crypto-currencies as a potential pivotal and emerging industry for the Island. It's an incredibly exciting topic".

Having previously spoken on a panel discussion for the BitFin Dublin conference, Lee was subsequently invited by Hamblin Employment Group to present the morning introductory session on crypto-currencies. The Hamblin seminar had over forty local attendees who were interested in crypto-currency and Lee presented for over two and half hours covering the history of crypto-currency to date, explaining the key concepts, identifying the industry players and then discussing the industry's issues, challenges and opportunities for the Island.

Lee's presentation fee of £200 from Hamblin Employment was matched by Cayman National Isle of Man. Donations of £200 each have been made on behalf of Cayman National to two local charities, the Isle of Man Hospice and the League of Friends of Ramsey Cottage Hospital.
